PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
The current owner told me she bought this house because she would “never have to go on holidays with a house like this”. I thought she was exaggerating but after looking around, I have to admit that this amazing hideaway presents like a 5 star luxury resort.

This truly unique retreat is light-filled and playful, while at the same time warm and welcoming providing a serene place to retreat from the hustle of everyday life. Located high on the hill at the end of a quiet cul de sac, the home is completely hidden from the street by well established palms trees.
The driveway is protected by electric gates and alongside, a paved pathway meanders upwards across a classical wooden bridge to the home itself. Vehicle accommodation is provided by 2 large carports at the top of the driveway, with sufficient space for an additional workshop.
Passing a strategically placed firepit, perfect for hot toddies on a cold winters night, we arrive at the large double front doors, a unique design, clad in earth friendly cork and looking fabulous.
As we enter into a massive open plan formal lounge, kitchen and family area the first thing we notice is the cooling timber flooring that stretches throughout almost every room in the house, giving that cool, clean contemporary look.
The kitchen is outstanding with matching stainless steel “Ole” appliances including a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop and extractor, and oven. Across from this is a large island breakfast bar with heaps of drawer space. All the kitchen preparation areas have very practical stone benchtops, light coloured, adding to the general feeling of space and cleanliness.
The family and meals areas surround the kitchen on two sides and have an enormous 15m sliding doorway access to the pool and entertaining areas outside, allowing the whole area to flow through to the outside without interruption when entertaining. The area is cooled by a large fan and cathedral ceilings add to the air of sophistication.
A large archway leads into the formal lounge area, air conditioned with a unit large enough to cool the whole area, a fan for additional cooling, and downlights throughout. The centrepiece of the formal lounge is the ceiling projector showing high definition TV onto a 95″ screen.
Off the formal lounge is an office, fully air conditioned with a fan for optimum working conditions.
Onward into the accommodation wing we find the main bathroom, conveniently placed to service guests during the day and the bedrooms at night. The bathroom has a spa bath and a large double sized glass screened shower, wooden venetians and an IXL extractor. There is a separate toilet next door for convenience.
Snuggled next to this is a well placed laundry with an external door for hanging out washing.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have built in wardrobes, fans and, as with the whole house, timber flooring for cleanliness. Bedroom 3 even has a TV installed.
On to the master bedroom, extra large and fully air conditioned with a fan and timber venetians. There is a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite with a shower, toilet and vanity. The master bedroom leads out onto a massive 14m balcony with stunning views to the south west, overlooking the ranges.
From the accommodation wing a flight of stairs lead down to an enormous teenage retreat / bedroom 4. The bedroom area is so large it would take a range of furniture and a bed. This whole area is air conditioned with a walk in wardrobe so large Kim Kardashian would be envious of it.
Stepping outside from the family room, the entertainment areas outshine the house for the “wow” factor.
As though emerging from the bush, a waterfall trickles down into a large spa and from there into an outstanding free form swimming pool. To one side of the pool is a Bali Hut with a fan and lights, giving shade and a cool place to rest and partake of a cooling drink.
At the other side of the pool is an enormous undercover entertainment area. This area is fully tiled with downlights throughout. There is a BBQ pit and a bar. The whole area is protected at the sides with a drop down screen allowing free access to the pool area or protection from the elements if needed.
“why go on holidays when everything you need is here”
